Alizarin Print

The dyeing art Alizarin is named after the natural colourant Alizarin used in the hand block printing process. Alizarin is extracted from the roots of plant Madder (Rubia Tinctoria, Rubia Cordifolla etc…). It gives red colour to a textile dye known as rose madder.
